Super Llama: Llamas are awesome! (24)
My Bio
I have been retired since 1998, but I worked and went to school for many years before that.

I have very eclectic tastes about most things, but some things--like animated gifs--give me migraines so I have to avoid them.

I enjoy beauty in any form that I can recognize, even abstract art, but I admit that there are probably things in which I fail to see the beauty. I feel that models should not all be perfect because people need to be reminded that REAL people are rarely perfect and that even the least perfect person possesses some beauty and that beauty can be brought out by photographers who pose them well. This is especially true of young children because their smiles are among the most precious and beautiful things we can ever be blessed to see!

I am the youngest in my family, so I have learned a lot about many different things from listening to my older siblings, and parents and their friends when they talked about things. They also taught me many things when they took me with them to do different things when I was younger. My sister took me with her to one of her education classes in college when I was only 8 years old. She also chose some of her college books for me to read. My oldest brother taught me how to fish and how to do many other things. He took me with him when he went to work at night during the summer on a shrimp trawler. I was 12 at the time. We caught a hammerhead shark that was about 3 feet long! Those are just a few examples of the wonderful experiences I had while growing up, thanks to older siblings who cared enough about me to take the time to show me about life.

My life can be summed up quite well by:
"I've always been a square peg that was forced into a round hole, then removed and put into a square hole--lots of rough edges, but none of my own making." ~Rob Branstetter (13 years after forced retirement on disability.)

My Writing

0 min read
I realize that I still have not posted any deviations in my gallery.  I want to change that this year! I hope to get some of my poems and, perhaps, a short story or two posted during 2012.  I hope that people who read them will like them. * * * * * I am doing a lot of research on some longer stories which may or may not become book-length.  In several of those stories, I am trying to write from a girl's, young woman's or womans' point of view and I really want to do it properly. Therefore, what I would like to do is gather material from several sources to allow me to do a study on how girls change between the ages of—deally, puberty,

Well, we are almost at the end of January, 2012, so I guess we are not really beginning the New Year, but it still feels like it to me. I hope that everyone will have a happy and productive year in 2012 and that we will all have the absolute minimum in the way of hassles.
